This living museum depicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sarawak and conveniently portrays the respective lifestyle amidst 14 acres of equatorial vegetation. Here, it is possible to see Sarawak’s ethnic diversity at a glance. The handicraft is both bewildering and tempting, including the kain songket (Malay cloth with gold inlay), pua kumbu (Iban housewives textiles), Melanau terendak (sunhat), Bidayuh tambok (basket) , Iban parang (swords) , Orang Ulu wood carving and Chinese ceramic.

Damai Golf & Country Club Bhd is the first in Malaysia designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. The setting is truly spectacular, bordering the foothills of Mount Santubong and hugging the beaches and rocky outcrop of South China Sea. This international championship standard, 18 hole, par 72 course is turfed with Bermuda Greenless Park and the greens with Bermuda Tifdward to ensure a true putting surface.
One of the most challenging holes is the signature Hole 17, nicknamed the ‘Pebble Beach’ hole of Malaysia. This short 154 metres par 3 needs nerve of steel. It can be a heart breaking experience playing this hole. The very sight of rocks in the foreground, the sea beyond, and the capricious wind can play Hell to your concentration.

Accommodation
The Treehouse
The Treehouse is our trademark and perhaps the most unique accommodation you can find in the whole of the Damai holiday area. Built 20 feet off the ground - the Treehouse follows the native design of the Iban community, one of the major native races of Sarawak. It follows the concept with some modifications, to suit the times. Rustic & cosy, the Treehouse are fully air-conditioned and are also equipped with ceiling fans, hot showers, fridge, etc. Provide a wonderful opportunity to experience living in the rainforest. It offers a great view of the Damai seaside. Sleep at night to the sound of the waves lapping upon the shore, wake up in the morning and embrace natures cool, quite stillness and lose yourself in the peace and tranquillity.
The Cabins
The Cabins can accommodate up to 6 people and have 2 bedrooms, attached bathroom, a living room and veranda. The cabins are modestly furnished and are great for families or small groups. Some of these cabins are fitted with BBQ pits and a large veranda space for cooking.
Rainforest Cafe
The Cafeteria is located on top of a hill and provides an excellent view of the seaside. In the evening, the view of the sunset from the balcony can be breathtaking. It is also partly surrounded by trees and sometimes you can get glimpses of squirrels and birds and if you're lucky you get to see a tree snake slithering its way up the trees.
Activities
Activities are made up of Leisure and Training activities. Both types of activities cover both land and the sea. Some of the activities are extremely challenging (especially the training activities) and some are mildly challenging and can be done at a leisurely pace.
